Irving in the Community
We believe in being a good neighbor, in doing our part for the places and people that have helped us grow. That’s why Irving provides both financial and volunteer support for many educational, environmental and community initiatives each year.
Our community programs and partnerships support the neighborhoods where we live, work and play through our volunteer work for events such as the United Way's Day of Caring, charitable donations to organizations such as the Special Olympics through our Fueling Dreams program and sponsorships of local, minor league teams like the Portland Pirates and Manchester Monarchs.
Volunteering provides Irving employees the opportunity to help out in our communities. Each year, employees in our Portsmouth NH office participate in the United Way's Day of Caring where they spend the day at different charitable organizations in the Seacoast area working in various projects. Many employees look forward to participating in this important event year after year.
And we're proud of our flagship program, Fuel the Care, which began in 2002. Through this vital program, we've helped to cover the travel costs of more than 35,000 families whose children are in need of constant or urgent medical care.
